Biographical Summary
Sara Graham received her Bachelor of Art in Mass Communication in 2002 and her Masters of Business Administration in 2005 from Louisiana State University. While working as a graduate student with the Center for Analytics & Research in Transportation Safety (CARTS), formerly the Highway Safety Research Group (HSRG), she worked to review state crash data manually entered for accuracy and completeness. Upon graduation, she accepted a full time position with the CARTS, where she worked with police agencies to promote electronic crash reporting in order to improve the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of crash data in Louisiana. Most recently in her role as Data Quality Manager, Sara’s focus and interests have been to investigate, develop, and implement processes that further improve the overall quality of the state’s crash data. She also works closely with the Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) Team in Louisiana to ensure the state crash database matches the data reported through the FARS program.
