Erin Bankston received her undergraduate degrees from Louisiana State University in Psychology and Sociology, with a specialized focus in Criminology. During her time as a student, she was a researcher in the Anxiety and Addictive Behaviors Laboratory & Clinic. Erin joined the Center for Analytics & Research in Transportation Safety in January of 2019 as a Data Analyst. To ensure reliability and integrity of data, she uses her prior training as a research assistant to assist in examining and reviewing crash data for accuracy, completeness, and uniformity. Erin also researches best practices and industry standards, constantly seeking avenues to enhance data quality.
